There are a lot of advantages from quitting smoking with electronic cigarettes
You must have already realized by now that there are so many benefits to reap from making the change to electronic cigarettes from their regular counterparts. There’s the money savings to make use of… imagine the family holiday those savings could pay for. Plus there are the health benefits too – you probably won’t die so young because you won’t be inhaling all of those nasty toxins and chemicals.
Of course, the biggest positive about changing from regular smoking to electronic cigarettes is that eventually, you could quit smoking entirely. At first, all you are dong is replacing your nicotine addiction in the form of “real” cigarettes, with the e-cigarette replacements. From there, the aim of the game is to slowly wean yourself away from the nicotine addiction itself. Once you’ve beaten that, leaving behind the habit of smoking itself is actually a piece of cake.
There are a lot of advantages from quitting smoking with electronic cigarettes. Firstly, you won’t actually be giving up the habit itself so you have nothing to miss. Yes, there will be a couple of days where you will be more irritable than usual as you get rid of the “real” cigarettes and start to rely more and more on your e-cig counterparts, but to be honest, you’ll barely notice the difference.
You’ll have something to do with your hands and your mouth so you won’t find yourself eating and snacking quite so often. This is often one of the biggest complaints people have when they quit smoking – they eat more and they’ll usually put on quite a bit of weight. Those that choose to quit with electronic cigarettes won’t suffer with the increased appetite, as the nicotine itself hasn’t been removed from the equation, and you will have an electronic cigarette to put in your mouth rather than a candy bar.
Quitting smoking with electronic cigarettes is not going to be something that happens overnight. It’ll be a long and, at times, rather difficult process. You’re looking at using these electronic cigarettes for a minimum of four or five months. Most people take around a year on average to quit. You need to wean yourself away from the nicotine, and the idea is to do this slowly so that your body barely notices the difference. The withdrawals will be next to nothing compared to what you would need to deal with if you were just quitting the smokes cold turkey. Your cravings will be satisfied by a short burst of nicotine from the e-cig. When you think about it, it just makes total sense, doesn’t it?
